The simple fact of the matter is that this person has openly invited the speculation into his/her identity and character.
He/she has done this by repeatedly claiming to be a member of the GB, by posting frivolous comments, by repeatedly asking people not to question the sincerity of his intentions and to merely accept his credibility - and then to imply that other persons (namely Ros and Ray Franz) were in fact the cause for his claim not to be verifiable on this board.
Aside from the obvious pain and disappointment this person (I would like to use stronger language, but I will refrain from doing so) has caused, this whole episode has simply confirmed to many Jehovah's Witnesses (those who are aware of H2O) how crazy the 'apostates' are and what a bunch of fools they are to believe any old story.
I am sickened by this whole episode. I am disgusted by the harm it has caused.
You of all people should appreciate that there are many people here who are hurting and something like this will see them resolved not to come back to H2O lest they become victims again of lies and deception.
Rick, I appreciate what H2O has done. I admire it's openness. I may disagree with much of the anger and vindictiveness but I understand it. I am personally affected by the policies of the WTS that in many cases amount to deception or to thoughtlessness.
I don't know how you could ever do this without violating your own good intentions, but unless there is some way of stopping delusional individuals from posting as multiple personalities and from hurting others by their pretensions, this forum is going to self-destruct or turn into a pig-sty.
There is a lyunatic fringe on this board that is slowly taking it over and the more reasonable and sane persons are leaving.
That is sad, and you need to look for a way to remedy this.
