Cyberpass has crashed before. I think that's what happened this time as well, only for an unusually extended period.
I've also heard rumours that it was sabotage, and that Kristin's mysteriously absent husband worked day and night to repair the problem. Maybe Rick will eventually show up and explain what really happened to our collective satisfaction. I've also heard that various admins have been threatened, but I wouldn't take that too seriously.
