I felt the same about Franz (although was too chicken to say so). I don't think we (you, I, or anyone else) ought to come down too hard on the man for his faith. Faith is not, and perhaps ought not to be, explainable in rational, logical language. And, the Jesus story certainly (to this point) has more merit than Area51's.
