You will find that the censorship here is not as insidious as you might have thought. BarJonah is correct that we do NOT censor ideas. But I hope you can see the wisdom in the FPP and the need for moderators, such as myself and others.
It is true that we are for the most part grown adults, but there may also be minors lurking here that are concerned for their spiritual wellbeing.
It is not hard to understand the unproductive effect of a board where flame wars are allowed to go on unchecked. Freedom of speech is a cornerstone of this site, but the abuse of it is destructive and violates the rights of others. It has been my observation that if personal attacks and expressions of hatred are prevalent, then many become disgusted and leave, thereby losing out on the benefits of this type of forum.
We hope you stay and enjoy the frank discussions, and feel free to participate within the guidlines of the FPP.
