I don't know how many of those who post here have an interest in ET matters. I have always had an
intense interest in this (and have as yet had NO aliens depositing themselves in my backyard - not
even a whimper in my ear)
Recently I re-read much of the so-called evidence relating to PROJECT BLUE BOOK and also the ROSWELL
affair.
AWAKE! some time ago (sorry I don't have the CD at work) carried an article concluding that
intelligent life does not exists beyond planet earth. Much of the reasoning was based on the
issues raised in the Garden Of Eden and the subsequent challenge to Jehovah's Universal
Sovereignty. Thus, the existence of material extraterrestial intelligent life (apart from
angelic) will appear to undermine the teaching relating to Universal Sovereignty.
In fact - if ET life is proved indisputable, it will certainly shake up the worlds religious
systems and have unimaginable consequences.
It still remains one of the most interesting points for discussion with people, but then, not
all subscribe to the excitement of this concept.
