That's really how simple it is, Julie. Paul said "I only know Christ Crucified" and that is also the real "Good News". I believe all of the arguing about doctrine is just a intellectual exercise, since we cannot confirm many interpretations, one way or the other. You obviously have a kind and loving heart.
