ros,

:You bet! You should have heard 'em belt it out when I played the piano. :-)

I played the piano in every Kingdom Hall I attended from the age of 12 until I left the WTS. I also played at circuit assemblies when there were not enough people to form a small orchestra. I had my own custom arrangements of each song, too. I also enjoyed the inspiring words and music of "Take Sides With Jehovah," and the 1/2 page "Dedication" song "Forward You Witnesses" had a nice transition from D minor to a major key as I recall, and the music for that (I'm not mistaken) was written by witnesses in a concentration camp.

Every single time I moved to a new congregation that already had a piano player, I volunteered to play when the piano player couldn't make it to the meeting. In each and every case I was assigned to play from then on!

Farkel, who remembers that one of those old songs contained the theme from the Beethovan "Appassionata" Sonata, Opus 57, but can't remember the name of that song.
