The evidence in the Bible is not irrefutable, it is debated constantly. As evidence, it would not be accepted in most courtrooms because it is heresay evidence. Many of the accounts in the Bible are conflicting and/or contradictory. For a serious critique of the Bible as "truth" by someone who did believe in God, read Thomas Paine's "The Age of Reason."
