I became a witness in the Pasadena,Calif. area and
I knew Ruthie Snow, an anointed sister who for a
fact studied the bible with George Armstrong the
founder. I thought she had studied with George in
the twenties when he was searching for answers to
the scriptures. Witnesses used to joke that he
based his beliefs on what Ruthie taught him. When
he died, Ed Cardberry an elder in Pasadena was
told to call on George Armstrong because his subscription to the Watchtower had exspired. The
man (ole George) made millions. Maybe one of you
out there has the facts and could correct me if
I am wrong.
By the way, does anybody know what happened
to Sally Horn? Everybody loved Sally. I heard she
moved back to Georgia and is living with her mom.
Is she still a witness? Her roommate Carol Dufner at bethel was
a good friend of my family. Also, what happened to
Lenny Watkins? He went to bethel in the late 70's
and I have'nt seen him since. He was a fine human
being who I deeply respected.
