Hi Julie,

My favorite local Catholic Charity is the St. Vincent De Paul Village. Several days ago they ran a newspaper ad asking for donations to help feed the poor. A $25.00 donation provides 20 meals for a mere $1.25 each! They serve 3,500 meals a DAY for each and every day in the year! That means they get contributions of $1,575,000 for that one program alone.

Of course when great charities like this are brought up, the average dub will say, "Oh, they're just trying to make 'rice Christians," or "they made feed someone for a day, but we offer eternal life."

Have you ever eaten a Watchtower magazine? I would guess they taste like crap.

Farkel, who wonders what physical nutritional needs are met when one consumes a publication of the WTS
