No need to worry about this. I will go with the way the scriptures describe that Sabbath. And that should be good enough since in makes the point that it was NOT a normal Saturday Sabbath. Should be good enough for anyone with common sense. The words are like a fingerprint. Positive ID. I brought out the fact that double Sabbaths appear in the Greek text years ago in my book. This does not show up in most translations. When we put it together a Sabbath other then Saturday and a resurrection on the first day of the week, Sunday morning in fact pretty much forces it to take place on Friday, with the execution on Thursday. Thus Friday and Saturday are involved. We can thank John for pinpointing the time with such a positive statement.
The documents on this are corrected now and up on my page. The Antichrist material will show that a "hypostatic union" took place when our Lord raised his own body after his resurrection. I already updated the article on Stafford's chapter 8 and can put my outline for this talk up on my webpage if anyone would like to see it. No need for secrecy, information is a good thing and should be provided when available. In fact if anyone disagrees they can give it their best shot.
