Aren't you saying in the second statement that "sharing contrary views" was why he was disfellowshiped? His "freedom of expression among fellow JWs" hampered,or do I misunderstand what you meant here? By his "beef" you mean the reason for his DFing, right?
Also, I wonder what part of the Society knows of your views and your posting here? If you write a letter to the "Society" and explain your divergent views and that you discuss them on a public board then I imagine you would be contacted quickly. Unless Greg is just being picked on and others on this board have lied about their experiences. I didn't express a divergent view, just asked about the current understanding on the 7,000 yr. creative day, like whether we were still in the period where Adam and Eve are naming the animals, and the elders of my daughter's cong. helped her to a "Balanced" view that I needed "discipline." Our relationship needed "Modification." The modification? Guess. Quoted me the verse in 2 John 2:9 and has tried to cut me out of her life. I guess things vary from cong. to cong.?
