I saw it earlier this week.
Irreverent? Yes!
Vulgar? Yes!!
Entertaining?Yes!!!
Makes you think? Yes!!!!
Most Catholics, Protestants, and Fundies will be offended by several portions of this movie.
But, strangely, by the end of the movie, it's almost faith affirming; That things might work out for humans after all.
Some scenes of extreme violence played for laughs I found more disturbing than the irreverance, if I have a quibble.
However, those yoyos on Witless.net who are so thrilled at the idea of "Angels of Death" swooping around wiping out everybody might be thrilled (or at least shaken back to their humanity) by the climax of the movie. Strong stomachs only! (Yikes!)
Any comments out there?
