I agree with CPiolo completely. I've seen that in my sister's case. My brother in law (non-JW) knew her while she was disfellowshipped. After getting married she decided to go back to the Org and was reinstated, so my brother in law suddenly found himself with a JW wife. He is one of the kindest persons I know, otherwise they would have already divorced. Of course, my sister blames herself for all this trouble and she thinks it is "a consequence of sin". So my poor brother in law has to cope not only with a JW spouse he didn't expect to have but with one full of guiltiness feelings and with severe depression cicles.
So Gretchen, I don't like to give advice, I think everybody has to make his own decisions, but knowing other people's experience is always helpful.
