Don't forget when Greg was talking about the Passover, after having admitted that he didn't know much about it, went to Christendom's popular sources for a solution and declared that the issue of when Jesus ate the last passover could never be determined and settled on a "pre-Passover" meal eaten on Nisan 14th, though admitting the normal Passover-Seder is eaten on the 15th. This is TOTALLY AND COMPELTELY non-Witness.
So you must ask yourself why didn't Greg check the WT-CD for their actual beliefs first before defending their position on this topic?
You must ask yourself what witness goes to popular religious commentaries for the answers and totally ignores the "Theocratic Library"?
Greg's responsibility was to understand what the Witnesses taught about this and then try to defend it. Instead he came up with his own solution based upon secular commentary, which the normal witness is basically prohibited to investigate anyway. So he certainly doesn't look to the Theocratic Library for solutions.
Therefore, one must question whether Greg is answering these debates for the sake of debate and for the sake of just winning debates versus actually representing his true beliefs and support of Watchtower doctrine. Which is critical since that is what he is claiming to do.
The fact that he represented Christendom's solution to the Passover issue instead of that of the witnesses remains a disturbing criciticism of his competentence in representing Jehovah's Witness teachings.
If you don't know the teachings, how can you properly believe in them and defend them?
Greg's debate authenticity certainly comes under doubt, therefore, at a very basic level.
