Hi bJ,
Thanks. I don't mind submitting in the "spirit" of the webpage and I support your policy to reserve the right to edit vulgarity or racism.
As far as your typo goes, it is in the title line on the "submissions" page. The title reads: "Submitting You Own Biographies".
I like the format and style. I hope people submit something and photos are also nice.
When you post on the board for the next couple of weeks you should always link to th new site until it gets well known. It serves as advertising and a reminder. Then you should include it at least once in each thread you post under. I think all with webpages on G.P. should do this, but especially something new and something that will be constantly updated as your site. You'll have a lot more visitors if you can just click on a link. Thanks.
Alan adds a lot of credibility to the site and its great both you and he are honest about your current beliefs. I think that is what interested me both. Where you went psychologically and spiritually after the "truth". I'd be an example of someone you remained a Biblical fundamentalist. I lost my faith in the Borg but not the Bible.
Even so, obviously, there are challenges on all sides and it is interesting to see how someone with former witness training handles these challenges, yet somehow, there is that yearning still there to RESOLVE what is real, etc.
So far, it seems those who leave for intellectual issues also tend to start doubting the Bible. That's just an observation. Fortunately my story is just the opposite. My research has strengthened my faith in scripture. I feel fortunate.
Cheers,
Bibleman
