In the post Future of the WTS by Seeker jimmyjames brings up the point that he would probably be still going door to door if not for the internet.
So how many out there feel that the internet was highly instrumental in there leaving the Society, including ones who have left in their hearts but stay for their own reasons?
I for one would still be struggling with quilt and trying to go and please all elders and the brothers and sisters. I would still be wondering why I felt it was wrong in my heart and beating my self up for it. My research on the net and at sites like this, particulary this one and the sites this one leads to through links from others, is what did the trick. No where else could I go and not "be seen" and lectured for asking questions. I got the support to question and to research more and to dig into things and answer my own questions. Not to follow and take anyones word for anything!
Thank you Rick and all who help, for this wonderful site that really does save lives.
