Hi mntzion,

I already began with the Koran. I would think that the two books critically to consider would be the Koran and the Book of Mormon. Are we talking about any others?

When I checked the WT-CD references against "Koran" and "prophecy" there was none except for one reference in the Koran that the "meek would inherit the earth", which was very vague.

But I would like to emphasize again that it is the fulfilled prophecies of the Bible that establish it as being inspired whether or not the other books come through or not. My focus is on the Bible meeting that test, not making a comparison.

So really, I don't have to prove anything except the Bible's prophesies are true. The ball is in the court of the others to prove their books are inspired. I already proved mine is (or at least offered information). So even if the other books made prophesies that equally came true in the same spectacular fashion as the Bible, the Bible would still be true. But I really don't know what future prophesies these other books have made though I'm mildly curious now. A good comparison would be fun.

Anyway, I looked for something prophetic in the Book of Koran and didn't find anything so I don't know if there are any prophecies or not. If so they are not in the public domain.

I know the Book of Mormon has a lot of prophecies
but I don't know how well they do.

So my CHALLENGE is now to the other sacred books and anyone who wants to defend them. Ultimately, though, I think some "Bible is inspired word of god" type articles by the WTS will have some comparisons if need be and I'm sure these other books crash and burn in that area.

But whatever you come up with would be nice to compare. I would be specifically interested in chronology prophecies though, that have to be fulfilled by exact dates. For instance the 1335 days exactly 45 years after 1947 giving you 1992 has to match EXACTLY 2520 years from the fall of Jerusalem and both dates converge on 1992. That to me is impressive. I'd like to see some prophecies in the other books that prophesied something like that that many years in advanced.

Cheers,
Bibleman
