Let's return to the scene of the 'original crime. Adam and Eve were not lacking anything in their residency. Their Father and Maker requested only ONE command from them and that was not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and bad. Was this request so tough to obey that Adam had to struggle as to why he was not allowed to eat from that particular tree? Of course not. Then what happened? Was God testing them? If he was, then he made the devil! If all his activity is perfect, then God made a perfect devil. It would seem logically if we would followed this scenario to its conclusion but not so. Why?Because James 1:13 says, " For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he try anyone." James further says at verse 17, "Every good gift and every 'perfect' present is from above...and with him there is not a variation of the turning of the shadow." Paul says about God at Hebrews 6:18 "...it is impossible for God to lie." Paul at Romans 3:3,4 says, "...let God be found true, though every man be found a liar..."
As an inventor with 3 patents, I'm going to create a scenario that should make us think. Since Jehovah is from 'eternity to eternity' (Ps.90:2), his 'first' creation was his son. (Col.1:15)
Taking the scripture of Genesis 1:26 where it says, "Let us make man in our image.." Jehovah allowed his spirit son to create other creatures under his supervision. This son, before creating human and animal creatures creates the first spirit creature that later turns out to be non other than a jealous, slanderous and murderous creature, the devil.
This spirit creature was able to see first hand what this direct son of Jehovah was able to create
without his participation and righly so. This angelic creature was endowed with great power so much so that after his rebellion, a third of them followed and did obeisance to him.
This beautiful spirit creature developed an ugly heart and as Jesus said at Matt.12:34 "Offspring of vipers, how can you you speak good things, when you are wicked? FOR OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART THE MOUTH SPEAKS." This spirit scripture revealed his ambitious heart when he said to Eve,"...You are bound to be like God, KNOWING good and evil." This spirit creature revealed what was in his heart. The rest is history. As first John 3;8 puts it, "He who carries on sin originates with the Devil, because the Devil has been sinning from (the) begining. For this purpose the Son of God was made manifest, namely, TO BREAK UP THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL."
It takes an 'imperfect' mind to conjure up that God knew in advance that man was going to sin. "Your thoughts are not my thoughts and neither are my ways your ways says Jehovah at Isa.55:8
David said at Ps.19:13, "Also from presumptuous acts hold your servant back; Do not let them dominate me."
To say that Jehovah knew in advance that all these events were to take place is the same as Adam passing the buck when he was asked at Genesis 2:11,12 "Who told you that you were naked? From the tree from which I commanded you not to eat have you eaten?" Adam said,"The women whom 'you' gave to be with me, she gave me the (fruit)from the tree and so I ate." Adam had a choice, and what did he do? BLAMED JEHOVAH, WHAT A MISTAKE.
I can go on but I'll conclude with Joshua's words, "....choose for yourselves today whom you will serve...." Josh.24:15
