They also believe that the reference at Matthew 24:29 that says "AFTER the tribulation of those days..." means after the START of the gradual tribulation begins, then there will be some sort of celestial darkening of the sun and moon, and then some non-anointed ones, that is, some miscellaneous people DURING a sort of let-up phase in the continuing great tribulation will spiritually come to know and accept Jesus thus "seeing the sign of the Son of man" in a spiritual sense, and then after those few ones come in, allowing for a technical fulfillment, then the full brunt of the great tribulation leading into Armageddon will take place!
This is just a total joke though, because they can't date the "great tribulation" prior to the Second Coming since they think Jesus appeared in 1914. This was they're best twist on how to adapt a great tribulation that is totally OVER before a period of darkness and then the Second Coming occrs. But it doesn't work.
Also, they totally contradict scripture which says that everyone of the anointed class going to heaven will all to to heaven at the identical same time. So this idea that a few surviving GB members will survive Armageddon while others are in heaven is nonsense according to the Bible.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 is very specific about this:
"For this is what we tell you by Jehovah's word, that we the living who survive to the presence of the Lord shall in no way precede those who have fallen asleep in death; 16 because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel's voice and with god's trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. Afterward we the living who are surviving will, TOGETHER with THEM, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we shall always be with the Lord."
The simple explanation is that the WTS doesn't realize that the 144,000 are first resurrected back to light to be princes IN THE EARTH first during the millennium before then going on to heaven and heavenly bodies after the millennium and after Judgment Day. Thus in that way, everyone gets "changed" all at once because everybody has to be together again on the earth and in the flesh before going to Heaven. Thus they all get their reward TOGETHER and at the same time.
But per WTS false doctrine, who doesn't appreciate that Jesus will come in the flesh and that the first resurrection will be in the flesh also, thinks those who died after 1914 automatically go to heaven and perhaps the resurrection of those who died will be directly into heaven also. Thus they have a problem with some anointed ones who survive Armageddon not going to heaven with all the others who at least by Armageddon will begin to rule. Not that it makes great sense to have 144,000 ruling from heaven! After all, what would they do? Inspire dreams and visions of an "other sheep" elder-body? Wouldn't it make more sense that Jesus and the 144,000 since they must be kings and priests are right here on the earth with a hands-on interaction with those who survive Armageddon?
This is just one more of many false teachings now continuing to look more and more ridiculous, proving the total depth of the "darkness" the GB is currently in.
But the key point is their teachings directly contradict scripture. The Bible clearly says no one will get their [heavenly] reward before the others. They all get it together. This happens just as the scriptures say when you have the correct understanding.
