Deut 32:4 says the following about the God of the Bible:
”The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness, with whom there is no injustice; Righteous and upright is he."
Let's look at some SCRIPTURAL examples of His activities:
He told people to lie (1 Sam. 16:2) and He rewarded liars. (Ex. 1:15-20)
He allowed Job's family to be killed and Job himself to be tortured, just to prove a point. (Job 2:1-6)
He caused adultery. (2 Sam. 12:11-12)
He ordered his prophet to commit fornication with a whore. (Hosea 1:2, 3:1-2)
He killed many who disagreed with or questioned him. (Num. 16:35, 21:6, Deut. 32:39, 1 Sam. 2:25)
He practiced injustice towards the innocent. (Ex. 4:21-23, Joshua 22:20, Rom. 5:12, Gen 20:18)
He sanctioned slavery and excused the killing of slaves. (Ex. 21:20-21, Deut. 15:17)
He was prejudiced against deformed people. (Lev. 21:16-23)
He punished children for the sins of their fathers. (Ex. 12:29, 20:5, Deut. 5:9, Deut 23:2)
He ordered horses to be hamstrung. (Joshua 11:6)
He sanctioned violation of the enemy's women. (Deut. 21:10-14)
He required a woman to marry her rapist. (Deut. 22:28:29)
He excused a murderer and promised his protection. (Gen. 4:8-15)
He killed a man who refused to impregnate his widowed sister-in-law. (Gen. 38:9-10)
The Insight on the Scriptures says under the heading of Justice:
”Jehovah’s wisdom is far superior to that of imperfect humans, and man, not God, must learn the path of justice. (Isa 40:14) Thus man is in no position to judge God’s acts as just or unjust, but must learn to conform his thinking to the standard of justice that Jehovah has revealed in his Word."
Are the above examples of justice, as revealed in the Bible, of the type you would want to emulate?
