If only Brooklyn would follow suit.........and they, of course, cannot afford to relinquish control. In effect, they have become the victims of their own system which has made them dependent on the rank and file. By breaking Christian "law" and not working for a living and remaining independent of economic pressures they have also become slaves to a system gone wrong. The only hope that the GB has is to keep the status quo for at least as long as they are alive for as the one posting as a member of the GB has so vividly pointed out "I can't just take a taxi out of town." Instead of following the advice they so freely give to the peons and pawns of the orgainzation that they should work with their own two hands, the society has made numerous people such as CO's and DO's freeloaders on the working class members of the WTS. They too have a vested interest in the system remaining as it is. Does it all boil down to economics? I personally can't see anything else that can explain the insane course that these supposed "brothers of Christ" has taken. They know which side their bread is buttered on and unfortunately both the bread and the butter must continue to come from those who work for a living.
