Question, Rick (or anyone else of a mind):
This will be a serious question, Rick (et.al.); one that I used to ask the "mature ones" in the congregation when I was associated. I'm still interested in a viable scriptural response (not necessarily committing that I would agree with it, but just something Biblical that would lend some bibliocity to the WTS's interpretation).
Since Revelation 20 clearly states that "the war" or "battle" Gog and Magog occurs AFTER the prophetic "thousand years", and the "Revelation book" pretty much refers to Gog and Magog as a reference to Armageddon, what scriptural reference do you use to portray Armageddon as preceding 'the millenium'?
Also, where does any scripture say there will be any human survivors of that 'battle'.
Just as a for instance, when the "judgment day" episode occurs after the "thousand years" in Revelation 20, it seems that everyone coming for judgment comes from the dead. There is no inference to human survivors of Armageddon.
So the question in a nutshell is: Where does the Bible talk about "Armageddon survivors"?
