Paul said at 1 Corthians 4:6, "...learn the (rule):Do not go beyond what is written."

Both the Douay and Byington's translation uses the word, 'men.'Those who add or subtract to the scriptures have an accounting (not with me) but with Jehovah. That's his job.

I quote the scriptures because when I read the scriptures, Jehovah TALKS TO ME. When I conclude my prayers, I do not say in the 'name' of the 'governing body!' Are you getting the drift? So, who IS my mediator? Jesus doesn't mediate for dogs or other animals, does he? Am I a dog?

Jesus and Paul often used the expression, "It is Written." When you stay 'within' the confines of what is written, your called 'safe' at home plate.

Paul expressed his 'personal' opinion about singleness, at 1 Corthians chapter seven. Paul doesn't IMPOSE his opinion. Read that entire chapter, it is most interesting.

Is my last scripture that I am about to quote, for the anointed? "...choose for yourselves today WHOM YOU will serve..." Josh.24:15

Keep the faith.
