I agree with you completely because I've experienced those feelings myself. I was "born in the truth" and I remember being terrified by the idea of dying at Armaggedon. It didn't matter how many hours I put in or how well I behaved, I thought that perhaps it wasn't good enough for Jehovah or maybe I had commited some sin I didn't realize or whatever. When I look back, I see that most of the time I felt that nothing I could do was good enough for Jehovah and he was going to punish me for materialistic or selfish or proud or whatever.
I'm still a Christian and I believe in Armaggedon, but my biblical understanding and the way I see Jehovah has changed a lot since then.
I can really say NOW that the truth has set me free.
