John 1:3:
“All things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence...”
To JWs this means that Jesus created all things except himself
Col 1:17:
Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist.”
To JWs this means that Jesus was before all things except himself and again that he created all other things except himself.
IS THERE ANOTHER ENTITY THAT HAS THIS PROPERTY???
Let's play with substitutions:
John 1:3:
“All things came into existence through Yahweh, and apart from Yahweh not even one thing came into existence...”
Hmm! Sounds like a correct definition of THE GOD
Col 1:17:
Also, Yahweh is before all [other] things and by means of Yahweh all [other] things were made to exist.”
Well, well, well it is all magic to me!!
Whether Jesus is a god or the God, I cannot but wonder, how on earth could a being, created by Him, tempt Him, by offering every[other]thing, which He had created????
As a side note, that created being must have had EQUAL power to God to be able to offer every[other]thing which belonged to God.
And what if Jesus would have said "Yes, thank you so very much"???
Now THAT is Magic!!!
