Absolutely Scally. And it's happening right before our eyes. The WT org is its own worst enemy and is bringing on its own destruction.
Incidentally, I believe that you may be right about the fallout. I see it right now. If our own experience helps one other person, it will have all been worth it, IMO.
I don't visit here very often anymore, but I have read some of your posts. I can't express how very sorry I am for your predicament. The heartache and hopelessness that the WT and the JW religion has fostered is unforgiveable. I've heard it said that even members of the JW leadership (meaning the governing body) are victims of victims. But if I learned one thing as a JW, it was the determination to face opposition and stand for what I believed in. If I'm not mistaken, that was the hallmark of a JW. What I'm actually seeing is their (the leadership) inability to accept their own counsel.
Now that I've read and listened to my own post, I have to say it sounded rather harsh, and for that I'm sorry. But I'm not sorry for hating that which takes advantage of the vulnerable. And that's what exJW's and doubting JW's are....vulnerable.
