It's obvious that salvation is 'only' through Christ, at least for those who are Christian believers.

Was there a reason why you omitted Matt. 7:13,14 about the 'many' who go into destruction and the 'few' who are finding the narrow gate? How about verses 21-23 that many clamour that they have done marvelous things in the name of the Lord? How deceptive of them to put on a front when they were 'workers' of lawlessness!

Mahatma Ghandi was once asked by a Britsh Viceroy what it would take for both countries to live in harmony. Ghandi's simple answer was, to follow the Beatitudes (extreme happiness) of Christ outlined in Matthew chapters 5-7.

Paul at Romans 2:21, aks the question, "...do you however, the one teaching someone else, NOT TEACH YOURSELF? You, the one preaching "Do not steal," do you steal?"

The two greatest commandments are outlined in Matt.22:39-39, Love of God, neighbor and thyself.

James 2:8 says, If, now, YOU PRACTICE carrying out the kingly law according to the scripture: "You must love love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing quite well." "Love does NOT work evil to one's neighbor; therefore, love is the law's fulfillment.' Rom.13:8-10. Paul at 1 Corith. 13:1-13 sums it up by saying without love we are nothing! IJohn 4:8 "God is love."

Paul says at Romans 6:14, "...You are not under law but under underserved kndness." Jesus at John 4:22 says to the Samaritan women, " salvation originated with the Jews." Ah yes, through Abraham! Jesus further enlarged on this thought by saying in verse 23,24, "..The hour is coming, and it is NOW, when the 'true' worshipers will worship the father in spirit and truth, for, indeed, the father is LOOKING for suchlike ones to worship him. God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship him with spirit and truth."

Salvation does not come through any 'imperfect' source. It's God's way or OUR way which is the highway. Religion of men are glory seekers, money seekers and control seekers.

Everything will eventually boil down to one thing, and that is, "...choose for yourselves today whom you will serve..." Josh 24:15

We do not make the rules for salvation anymore than we make the rules when we are guests in someone's home.
