"because we want to and choose to do so."
and serve along with the theocratic Organization because we want to and choose to do so. We have no need for your faithlessness or hubris. Nor does that dazzle us.
With coercive persuasion you can change people's attitudes without their knowledge and volition.
Coercive persuasion changes both attitude AND behavior, not JUST behavior
Excellent proof of this right here in this thread.
You escape from a burning building. You are glad.
that you have escaped. You look back and see others who are still inside....You want to help
them escape too. When you try to help, you are
met with: "We don't need or WANT your help, GO AWAY, We are exactly where we WANT to be!"
or in this particular case.....
"We have no need for your faithlessness or hubris. Nor does that dazzle us."
I still don't think that it is right for anyone
to be controlled in this manner.
Even if their attitude IS irritating, they still
need our help.
