Hello Fred,
There was no doubt he should have been found guilty.
But Dateline didn't make it clear till the end of the show that the jury was debating on Murder vs. Vehicular Manslaughter. Not just guilty vs. innocent.
In the eastern time zone, the public voting was almost tied at the end.
I find it interesting that the poll was so close... because a not-guilty verdict would have let him off completely.
And remember, if you or a loved one needs a blood to live, please provide it. Life is very precious, and the Watchtower will be slowly changing its stand on this anyway... just like vaccines, organ transplants, etc.
It is very sad to see someone you love die so needlessly this way. Especially when you think they could still be with you. I know, it happened to me. I think about it every day.
Take Care,
Joey
P.S. Does anyone remember where the Watchtower took a stand on the pets of JW's (dogs and cats) getting blood transfusions. I think it was a question from readers in the 60's or 70's. It was pretty entertaining to read.
