In a post below, Big Ray Wimps out, GOLF/DK comes on and quotes a bunch of very good scriptures about not returning evil for evil and such.
I agree with him and will try to take those scriptures he quoted to heart, as they were meant, I believe, for me and all mankind. That is not what the Jehovah's Witnesses teach, however. Speaking to DK, Ray, Benadam and all claiming to be Jehovah's Witnesses:
I have to wonder what those words have to do with you??? Don't you know that those words (and the rest of the New Testament having to do with the New Covenant were not written to you but to the 144,000??? As an example, please read 1 Timothy 2:5-6

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all

And is that what Jehovah's Witnesses teach and believe??? No, in fact they twist and teach the opposite!!! In a questions from readers section in the 79 WT 11-15, titled (tongue in cheek, I have to believe) "Benefiting from "One Mediator Between God and Men" it reverses what the Bible says and puts in what they wish it said. Notice the brackets!!! This is the WatchTower Version of 1 Tim. 2:5-6

20 What, then, is Christ's role in this program of salvation? Paul proceeds to say: "There is one God, and one mediator between God and men [not, all men], a man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all."-1 Tim. 2:5, 6.

None of the witnesses I knew understood it this way. It is an obvious perversion of a very basic and easy to understand statement. Putting in "[not, all men]"
is an abomination in my eyes. Not to mention being a self-aggrandizing lie. To the Witnesses it is just a clarification. Still, when I asked a Witness relative about this they said "I do believe Jesus is my mediator and I pray through him every day!" I repeated this test on several and none had the Org. understanding. I don't think most Witnesses realize what the Society teaches in regard to this, or they are in denial.

So don't be throwing scriptures around like they mean something to Jehovah's Witnesses as an organization. They don't.
