If God's chosen Representative were among us today, would you recognize Him? What materialistic notions, anthropomorphic prerequisits must be met before you would accept the person? Remember the majority of the Jews couldn't get past the criteria for the Messiah 2000 years ago, how many similiar veils exist today? Who is standing in the "right place" who has "ears to hear and eyes to see". When He comes with a "new name, which only His followers will know" how will you know Him? Where will He come from? What are the biblical, Quranic and other sacred texts clues to His arrival?
So are you worshiping imaginary intellectual constructs as well as material idols? Which is harder to debunk?
