Dear Lobo,

Are you the silly one?

You want to claim the Bible contradicts itself.

So you insist upon me using a "scholarly" source of authority from pagandom and apostate Christianity to prove my point instead of the Bible itself, then when you see it doesn't work, you congratulate yourself for finding errors in scripture?

This is silly. I HAVE THE ANSWERS and the PERFECTION OF SCRIPTURE. The Bible is inerrant.

Your scholars are the stupid ones. You forced me to quote from them so the result was a stupid answer. You follow stupid people and you get stupid results.

You can't deal with the fact that out of three "mythological choices" your "scholars" don't know what they are talking about and can't have Jesus dying on Nisan 14th unless they introduce a contradiction in scripture.

But the Bible itself has not contradiction.

You see, they confirm that the synoptic gospels say Jesus ate the last supper on the 15th. But their error is in interpreting John 19:14's reference to "preparation for passover" as exclusively referring to Nisan 14th.

But if they had done a little research and tried to understand the current culture and language, they would have known this was a reference to Nisan 20th, in fact, the afternoon prior to Nisan 20th at Noon when the trial was. That's because the Jews have ALWAYS celebrated Passover on the 15th and the gospels are quite clear that is the date Jesus ate that last Passover.

Problem is, if Jesus was arrested on the 15th, which is a sabbath day and a Saturday at that, there is no way he could have died that date and fit all the chronology in the scriptures. But neither does his death on Nisan 14th fit all the chronology in the scriptures. All those "contradictions" you were talking about.

But, if you go with the Synoptic gospels and accept the THIRD CHOICE, which is realizing Jesus had to die the following day of "preparartion for passover" which is on the 20th, then there ARE NO CONTRADICTIONS:

The reference is for "de-preparation for passover" which means just before preparation for passover at the sixth hour when his trial was. Preparation for passover was the 20th, so this is a reference for Wednesday, Nisan 19th at Noon.

Then you have no conflict with Mark 15:25 which says Jesus was impaled at the third hour. Only this is a reference to the third hour of night because that is when the impalements customarily took place. So your incredibly stupid scholars couldn't figure that one out and they think it means 9:00 a.m. in the morning. Which is incredibly stupid since how can you impale Jesus at 9:00 a.m. and the trial didn't get started until NOON! Plus it got dark at Noon until 3:00 p.m.? It doesn't work with Jesus dying on the same day.

Plus your stupid scholars also don't realize that John's reference to the exact time that Jesus was brought before Pilate the first time after coming from the Sanhedrin John 18:28's reference to specifically: "It was but-early" meant it was just before the early-evening watch which watch was from Noon to 3. That means it wasn't until just before Noon the same day Jesus was arrested when he was first brought to Pilate. That is also after 9:00 a.m.

So there are lots of contradictions when you have the wrong dating based upon the wrong interpretation by your incompetent scholars. Oh, did I mention incredibly incompetent scholars of yours?

At any rate, when the correct dating is used, with Jesus' death on the following Thursday, Nisan 20th, then everything works. Including the fact that he would be in the grave for "three nights" which doesn't work from Friday to Saturday, but does work from Thursday to Saturday. (Jesus rose on Saturday night, so it's Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night - one, two, three.)

So anyway, your stupid scholars that you recommended don't know what they're doing. They come to stupid conclusions so they can have their stupid pagan Good Friday, and they event new Passover meals that are not in the Bible and claim the Synoptic gospels are all confused. They mistranslate the Bible at John 19:14 not understanding what is going on and then after making all their own errors claim the Bible is in error. But the errors are not the Bible's but their own incompetent stupidity.

And that's why I'm a CRITIC of scholars. I show you how dumb and stupid they are and show you you must pay attention to the scriptures directly because they are misrepresented by these so-called scholars you're impressed with.

The problem is not with the Bible, but with so-called Bible scholars and those who admire them..

Know this.

Cheers,
Bibleman
