Today I was surfing a bit and came across an article that I thought was really enlightening. It seems that some of the beliefs of the JW's aren't actually because it is or is not "in the scripture", but because some things are based on "pagan practices." Among some were Easter, the cross that Christ was crucified, Christmas, among others. So it seems, that it may be useless to use scriptures to question some of their beliefs. But where do you draw the line? If an egg is part of a pagan religion, can I bring one into my home?
