The only way I got them away from me for over a year was to tell them that I was baptized a JW in '77 and have since decided that the WTS doesn't have a corner on truth, and I don't want them to come back.
They stayed away for well over a year, maybe 2 years. Then recently came back. So, my husband leaned out the door and said, "My wife is an apostate."
They nearly fell getting off the porch, couldn't leave fast enough! I don't think they'll be back for a long, long time.
The only way I have found to keep them away, poor souls, is to tell them I'm an apostate. They back off like water on a hot oily griddle.
