A Call to AF!

I call upon AF to (please, now) publicly withdraw his inaccurate statement
about me. I have in my possession some correspondence from Alan which can
only be sensibly construed as meaning that he admits his error - or, at
the very least, admits he does not have the facts (and therefore was
entirely in error to have made the said assertion re myself). Good
manners would have forbidden me to quote AF's communication in any way
except that he wrote "feel free to use anything I've said" - so I shall
quote briefly, and this must suffice.
I opine that the following two make "exceeding strange" bedfellows:-
"At this point I can't say anything for sure about the WTS's possibly
investing in stocks .. could be wrong .. after reading H2O recently
changed his story .. assumed .. entirely possible [WTBTS] got out [of
stockmarket] .. I would certainly not be at odds with PB on this issue,
given what I've learned this past week" {AF, Nov 9, 1999, privately}

It follows therefrom that the so-called "GB-member" on H2O, who had
claimed the contrary, is a (probably well-meaning) FAKE (just look at who
is on the GB! - no Gorbachev there!). Which is the opinion of most of
those on H2O who think critically. Remember what troubles that eagerness
to believe got you into in the first place, other friends ;-)
Of course - if I am wrong, I must be a fake myself! But, I am not a fake.
For me to prove a negative is not possible. But I can be proved wrong by
ONE SINGLE EXAMPLE.
Despite repeated requests in arj-w and H2O no one has managed to name even
one stock (i.e. quoted equity) in which the WTBTS has invested (which
claim could then be easily checked, as these things are matters of public
record) - whether directly, or using some other corporation, formal trust
or other such investment vehicle.
Not one.

Which is unsurprising (to me and to those who know me from
alt.religion.jehovahs-witn, where I have been doing battle with the fds
and its hit-and-run followers for a long time...) - as I am RIGHT.
Believe you me, if the WTBTS did invest in the stockmarket, I would have
FALLEN OVER MYSELF in publishing information of such hypocrisy. But, they
do not. They do and have done enough that is reprehensible - nay, shameful
(if not criminal) - without us having to *invent* wrongdoing or anything
else.
Notes:
(a) Receipt of stock by way of legacy, gift, deed or other transfer is
quite a different matter (the transferor would be identified in the
corporation's records) as it does not comprise "investing". Further, the
WTBTS seeks to divest itself of such holdings, market conditions being
favorable. Some stock may, for example, have rights attached which make
transfer other than by legacy very complicated.
(b) WTBTS investments in treasury notes/bonds and the like do not comprise
WTBTS investing in the stockmarket.
(c) Ditto re investing by individual Bethelites and the like
I wish this matter to be cleared up. I have a lot of respect for AF
(notwithstanding his attempt at pearl-casting recently - did you really
expect to convince the brainwashed or hypocritical, Alan? ;-) ) - whose
writings have often given me cause to chuckle - and know he will do the
right thing. A correction by private email hardly corrects a public wrong
done to me by you. We *ALL* make mistakes - me too. My big one was when I
let the wicked Borg into my life.
Any damage to my credibility damages the credibility of "The List" (of
Jehovah's Witnesses' Published Idiocies), of which I am the "'umble" ( ;-)
) and sole compiler. I have devoted many years to collecting the
information contained therein, and do not wish this damage to happen. My
genuineness has been CONCLUSIVELY established in arj-w 5-6 months ago in
many ways (most recently - by predicting the KMin Nov '99
Internet-Parousiaoid Blather many months before it came out, and telling
of the (then impending) WTBTS web site a week before anyone else). And,
for those trying to spread disinformation about me (*NOT* AF) - I have
never claimed any GB-membership or the like. I am or was a Prominent
Bethelite (and the Brooklyn Bethel is not the only Bethel), and suggest
reflection upon that.
Version 8 of "The List" will be longer than 1 Mb, and the final product
will probably be 3 Mb or so, with MANY THOUSANDS (yes, no misprint) quotes
(all of which I have already collected - sorting, format-tidying and
checking them is enormously tedious, and the difficulty is exacerbated by
the secrecy in which my work is necessarily conducted).
I have some humorous corrections of Greg Stafford's grammatical (etc.)
"knowledge" for later - if the kind, fair, reasonable, just and
even-handed H2O moderators ( ;-) ) decide to let my post stand for longer
than 21.5 minutes, this time around.
In passim - haven't "you H2O regulars" discovered the REAL world of Usenet
instead of this nanny-nappy-club? No moderators, no fees (either), no
delays, better message handling and threading, FAR FAR BETTER ARCHIVING
AND RETRIEVAL - and plenty of JWs (and others - remember, the first job is
to warn those who do not know) lurking and posting - and far more casual
wanderers (who might get that knock on the door tomorrow).

Also, it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to post to H2O directly, without severely
compromising my identity (the long chains of PGP remailers and random
latencies I employ for arj-w cannot be used for H2O posting - even if I
supply a nym email account; indeed - even H2O browsing (using as I do
chained anonymizers) is rendered thereby painfully clumsy) - and I cannot
risk losing my family.
The Watchtower and the Creed of the Jehovah's Witnesses is a SHAM and a
LIE and a FRAUD from start to finish - it has ruined or spoiled many
lives, and continues on its rotten, wayward course - which is why it MUST
BE STOPPED FROM CONTINUING TO DO THIS - OR, PREFERABLY, JUST STOPPED.

postscriptum 1: A kind gentleman posting as "apokrisis1@aol.com" (no other
name or I.D.) has repeatedly and recently abused me - calling me a "liar"
(and worse, insofar as that is possible) on arj-w - simply because I put
up an indisputably-correct chronology of recent "happenings" on H2O - AND
the conclusions I drew therefrom. How an expression of a genuinely-formed
opinion can constitute lying, I do not know. A lie is a falsehood uttered
while knowing it is false (OK, we all know that for JWs a lie has an even
more restricted definition - but such restriction would act only in my
favor, here). Can anyone tell me what I (must have) missed, as the
gentleman posting as "apokrisis1@aol.com" seemed apoplectic - and the last
thing I would want to do is upset anyone (needlessly). He also seemed to
have some problem with confusion between adverbial phrases and clauses -
but such apparent "egregia" I shall deal with under another cover ;-)
Without any connection - I immodestly point out that a good number of
JW-apologists have been "retired" from arj-w thanks to my patient efforts.
postscriptum 2: I have Bcc:'d this to AF (I apologize in advance if
duplicates appear - it is a spin-off from the chaining process I use);
also, I ask lmn to have this post IN ITS ENTIRETY appear in H2O (and
thanks for the last attempt) with the subject as stated. And, thanks to
Tallyman for all the info and work - I am considering how best to act on
this: that Suiter was a "wide boy" is no secret, I'm afraid. To others - I
am NOT Tallyman, nor does he know who I am or even what country I live in
- pestering Tom for clues to my I.D. can yield nothing of value.
