Unfortunately the decreasing number of publishers is a trend in Western Europe.

I'm just wondering why. As a non-Witness I cannot see any convincing reasons for this development - neither the Internet (which became "mainstream" just 3 or 4 years ago) nor any kind of external "persecution" seem to be convincing reasons.

What do you, as a Witness, think?
