Oh, Richard.......My heart just goes out to you! I know the pain of "inadvertantly" trading in on relationships, and it does set your emotions on end for quite a while.
Now that certain ones are "aware" of your position,they have retreated, but yet you have the new and wondrous path to travel with your dear Windrider. So one set of emotions are dealing with losses and another set of emotions are experiencing a joy that only comes with a new found love.
I am so glad that you have the security of being able to depend on Windrider during this time, and you will be alright. Cling to her strength right now, and be at peace with that for now.
My situation is somewhat similar now, my world is expanding, and I have been shown MANY unexpected blessings since I disassociated myself a few weeks ago.
Three of my children have since called me, and we have been reunited with a new appreciation of one another, and the bitterness is finally gone. We see each other under a new set of circumstances, and it has been very productive and satisfying.
But, one daughter is a reg pioneer, and has obviously set her priorities (which I expected her to do) as well as another close relative who has chosen to disown me for my decision.
I don't mean to sound unfeeling, but I've come to realize that no matter what I do, I cannot please everybody. I had to follow my own heart, and the matter was NOT taken lightly, as you know.
So be absorbed in and surrounded by the person of Windrider, to buffer the slings and arrows of the very intolerant rules and regs of the WBTS, which governs the others that are causing you to hurt right now. They are only following "Mama's" orders, because they feel their salvation totally depends on it. I know that you understand this, but it helps to be reminded of it from one who is going through the same type of thing.
Continued happiness to you and Windrider, and let the others do what they have to for THEM to survive, I know it's hard.
Take care, I've been wondering how you two have been doing.....love conquers all, so focus on that when the irritations set in........
