In my case it was a written corespondence with headquarters which exposed them to me as callous liars. Nobody in local congregations had any negative effects. As for headquarters, first they were just incomprehensible. Then I lost my trust in their judgement. Then I lost respect for them. They run their organization by fear of their authority, not right or reason. They are both disgusting and a joke at the same time.
