Julie, thank you for your kind words.
My parents are not JWs. In my immediate family, I have one JW brother and one JW sister. They and their spouses will now shun me.
To be honest, I have had little contact with them for years for practical reasons. I live far away from them. I moved to Ottawa so my then wife could be near her family.
My biggest fear of shunning was my former wife's relatives. I was worried about the effect on her if they shunned me. Since we have separated, that fear is no longer present.
:Of course it is a grand thing that you and Windrider are together but don't forget that you have lots of friends.
More than anyone, you would know how wonderful Windrider is. Since I met her, I have gushed shameless about her to you. I was worried that you would get tired of it, but as the true friend you are, you were so happy for us. As you know, I can never say enough good things about Windrider. She is simply amazing!
I confess that I have been neglecting my friends. Adoring Windrider is not the only reason. I have numerous family crisis' happening right now, and these are consuming my time.
I am especially grateful to my friends for helping me cope with the divorce and the other crisises. Windrider, you Julie and another (I don't know if she wants her name published - she knows who she is) have been indescribably good to me!
