:The reason they have three different stories is because they were talking about three different events with three different Mary Magdalenes.

No, the reason they have three different stories is because it is simply a collection of different versions of Jesus life. These were selected and others rejected in order to achieve a particular spin. If you take some of the writings, that men decided didn't fit the plan/story, and read them you will come up with more than 3 versions.

:Here is where you are wrong. There are NO inconsistencies. You are presuming there are inconsistencies because you think there was only one Mary Magdalene. That is not the problem of the gospels, but your interpretation. You're seeing an error that is not there because you don't take into consideration the "style" of the gospels

No, the problem with the gospels is that the writer of the second probably had a copy of the first in front of him when he wrote his version, the same with the third. The writer of John obviously was more of a "free thinker". No plagerism for him!!!

:Sorry, but superficially going in and seeing contradictions that are not there is not sufficient to dismiss the "inspired" gospels.

No but looking long and hard, very closely and seeing contradictions *is* sufficient. Especially when the contradictions are consistent throughout the whole bible, not just the gospels.
