That's right. Jesus is the Owner of everything since Jehovah gave everything into his hand, the entire universe, everything in heaven and on Earth. So that is a correct statement.
But you must take into consideration the cultural language style of the Hebrews. And that is, they didn't like to overstate the OBVIOUS. If something was obvious, they didn't think they needed to make a special exception or clarification.
Greek culture, however, tends to need lots of reassurance. Nothing is real to them unless you repeat it about eight times. So there is sort of a cultural bias here.
So many statements, as we know, have to be taken into context. Thus since they knew that Jehovah was the ultimate Owner, God and Lord, when they said Jesus was the "only Owner and Lord" it was with the obvious understanding this was with the exception of Jehovah.
This is clear since in one place we find the Creator being called the "One true God" and Jesus the "one true Lord". Does that mean Jehovah is a false Lord? He is called "Lord as well." I think Jesus is even called "King of Kings" and Jehovah is also called a king. Is there a conflict?
No.
This is just how they talked and communicated.
But people who speak English think they are contradicting themselves because of the nature of English when in fact there is no contradiction It's just the differences in language that we must
maturely accept. We must take them at their word and not try to twist what they say into a clever contradiction that doesn't exist.
