I have to disagree with what most are saying here. I think all it takes is an idealist, one who really would like to see the end of racism, hunger, sickness and death. All or almost all of the people on this board were once in. I was as strong then as now. The group gained a lot of credibility in my eyes because of my family that was in, the obvious truths (to me) they taught about Christmas and Easter (the rabbits and eggs aspect) and the trinity. By the time I really started devweloping doubts I was baptized and realized that it was a hostage situation. They had my parents. I moved away and disassociated.
All it takes is a desire to believe in good and a desire to live forever on a paradise earth. The lies they tell don't hit you until later.
