mtzion,
You're correct. The Bible itself doesn't use the actual word "inerrant".
However, the Bible does claim to be inspired of God:
2 Timothy 3:16-17
"All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."
It claims that the words contained within it's pages are true:
John 17:17
"Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth."
And it claims that accurate knowledge of God, based on it's writings, is part of what is necessary for salvation.
John 17:3
"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
So although the Bible doesn't actually use the word inerrant, it does imply that the reader should not only trust all that is said within it's pages, but to not do so could cost them everlasting life.

ps Hey! Good to see you too! :-)
