As you may have noticed: 35 miles south of Amsterdam = Den Haag.
The avarage foreign person's knowledge of Holland isn't very impressive. They usually come up with the wooden-shoes-and-windmill-stereotype stuff. Last September, I visited relatives in the US of A, and some kids in Detroit asked me do we have roads in Holland, and don't they chop off your hand if you're lefthanded! Way to go America!
I'm not sure where you're from. USA, or maybe Down Under? A lot of Dutch folks went there after W.W. II.
