ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch.
reading the replies.. frankly I don't know what possessed me to ask such a thing.. laughing.. yeah, it later crossed my mind that a person's response to my question would be based on who and what they left behind when the organization left them, as well as what type life they were able to make for themself afterward.
Lobo, what you describe is how most people in this world worship and have spiritual fellowship with one another. Worship is something that adds to their lives instead of consuming their free will. Wouldn't that have been nice?
One good thing I believe that came out of being a witness, though, is that I will never, EVER take the ability to think for myself orr my free will for granted. I see so many people, ones who've never been involved with the JW's, just allowing anyone, such as the media or politicians, to make up their minds for them and to tell them what to think. The thing that led us away from the org. is the thing that makes us smart, involved citizens when we take our place among our fellow man.
happy thought for the day.. thanks for the replies, one and all.
