That's well and good for you, Michael, but some cannot afford that luxury of having their lives be an open book. You'd be surprised to learn the number of people in the free world that value personal privacy. In fact, the airing of one's identity on the Internet is not only ill-advised by privacy advocates and security experts, but the loss of privacy alone could make a disclosure of one's identity quite expensive.

Add what I'll simply refer to as the "organizational surcharge" and the costs become exorbitant. But if you can afford it and personal privacy is not that important, then more power to you.

Even aside from the special organizational concerns, I have always treasured my personal privacy and enjoy having a life away from prying eyes. Accordingly I deeply respect the privacy of others. One of these days you might discover that privacy is really valuable and even necessary, and I hope it doesn't take losing it to learn its intrinsic values.

Rick
