Wow! What a neat scripture. Thanks Honhea!
This means that Job knew he would be resurrected and see Jesus, his GOD, his Redeemer, in the flesh. (The Jews, like John, knew Jesus was god as John 1:1 says: "And the Word WAS GOD" So the Jews always knew there were two true gods.)
Anyway, this also means that Job knew that Jesus would rise over the dust (overcome his spiritual death as the prodigal son) and then his own eyes would see him "as he really is."
Since no man has seen Jehovah the true god at any time with their own eyes (only in vision) this means that the God and Archangel, Jesus, would be in the flesh at the time of Job's resurrection. Specifically, it means that Job understood he was entitled to come back in the "first resurrection" which is of the Bride Class occurring before the Millennium and during that millennium he would see Jesus Christ while he was ruling as king on the earth.
So this is a great scripture!
Calling Jesus "god"is no big deal. Just as calling Jehovah "Lord" or Jesus "Lord" is okay. Calling Jesus "god" is also what the Jews did. In fact, Thomas called Jesus, who was in the flesh at the time, "My Lord, my God!"
So Jesus' disciples worship him as god, even in the flesh.
BUT...when he is in the flesh, Honhea, he is not technically an ARCHANGEL because that is his spirit form. When you see the materialized body you are not seeing the heavenly body.
So just as angels materialized and socialized with different ones such as Lot, they were seeing an "angel" yes, but in materialized form. They weren't really looking at the heavenly angel itself. When an angel is in the flesh, he is flesh. When he compacts himself into a compressed spirit-matter-energy form, then he's angelic and invisible.
I don't know WHY I have to keep repeating this. But if need be.
When in the flesh, whoever that person is, they are in the flesh. When in spirit, they are in spirit, but the same person.
So yes,if you are looking at the fleshly Jesus Christ, you are looking at the person who is also the archangel Michael, but you are not actually seeing a spirit archangel. Spirits are invisible.
Thanks for that scripture! It confirms Job would be part of the first resurrection and understood Jesus would be in the flesh during the Millennum!
You're an "angel" for giving me my "new light" lesson for today!
Cheers,
