As I remember it the cong. was incorporated. We borrowed the money from the WTS and a lawyer from Flordia handled the legal work.
While I was the PO an old brother who never came to meetings wanted to leave his money to the local congregation. He made a joint account with me as the other person with his savings account and checking. When he died(after I had quit going to the KH) I just went down to the bank and drew all the money out and gave it to the cong. He was a trusting soul. He went back to Russell's days. I guess they payed off the mortage, I wasn't around to see what happened. His children didn't like this very much, but it was his wish and I respected it.
