I just sat here for a few minutes with my mouth open when I read this. I can't believe the Watchtower Org. would have the audacity to lie so blatently. I am disgusted.
In compliance with the Scriptures, however, members can be expelled for serious unchristian conduct, such as stealing, drunkenness, or adultery, if they do not repent and cease such actions. Disfellowshipping does not sever family ties.
I can speak from personal, first hand experience that the above is untrue.
Myself, like many others, simply dared to ask some questions in confidence to family member, who reported them.
I was not guilty of "stealing, drunkeness, or adultery". Simply asking questions. I was labeled an "apostate" by a Judicial Committee and DF'd. I appealed and lost.
The entire Judicial Committee process was the worst experience of my life and my family. You are actually "guilty" before it starts.
I even asked which of the sins of 1 Cor. 5:11 was I guilty of. They answered none, but my questions posed a danger to the congregation.
And my family that are JW's treat me with disgust and will not talk to me. Even my children are shunned. It's complete B.S. about not severing family ties.
I secretly tape recorded my Judicial Meeting and my Appeal meeting. Soon I'll be typing up the transcripts. You'll be totally shocked to read how these "spiritual shepards" (aka: Watchtower Nazi's) treat those that truly love truth.
Their sins have truly amassed clear to the heavens. It's only a matter of time before their twisting of the truth catches up to them in a big way.
Regards and stay away from those Judicial Meetings!
